Goom — Privacy Policy

Fovea ("we", "us") operates the Goom application (the "App").

Summary: Goom is a music visualizer. It uses your device's microphone to analyze audio in real time and render visuals. All audio processing happens entirely on your device. We do not record, store, upload, or transmit any audio or any other personal data.

Microphone access

The App requests microphone access to capture audio for real-time visualization.
Audio is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, saved, or sent to any server.
If you deny microphone access, the App continues to work using a built-in synthetic audio source (a heartbeat) instead.

Data collection

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data:

No account or registration is required.
No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are included.
No advertising or tracking SDKs are included.
No data is transmitted over the network.

Permissions

The App requests the following permission:

RECORD_AUDIO — used solely to capture audio for real-time visualization. This is optional; the App functions without it.

Children's privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above.
